We have to admit that Kirby is a special kind of vacuum, since its parts are easily replaced with parts from different models.The Kirby Generation 3 models have exactly the same replacement bags as the Heritage 2, Legend and Legend 2 Kirby vacuum cleaners. Available in fiber, these are also manufactured with an allergy reduction filter that has been electrostatically charged to capture microscopic particles and reduce the level of allergens in the home. The G5 Kirby bags are made to fit to all G5 models as well. The bag clamp, tube tie, belts and other similar replacement parts fit well to the both models from the series.

Only the G4 cloth bag is sized so as to exclude the G5 model line, and the G4 vacuum cleaner hose, dust brush, upholstery nozzle, wall-ceiling brush, and surface nozzle fit only the appliances in that series. And the well known Kirby G5 series shares a lot of spare parts with the advanced series, GSix. The entire generation of models will be able to use vacuum fans and the cleaner rool with a magnet, while the fill tube will fit with the G Six models as well as models from Legend, Heritage 1HD, Heritage 2HD and Generation 3, 4 and 5 models.

G200, Ultimate G and a GSix share the same Kirby vacuum cleaner bag model and latches, as well as the tools, wands, brushes, interchangeable hoses and other attachments that fit them all properly. All these models have the same crevice tool, dust brush, extension wand and a vacuum cleaner hose of course. These model series are known to share the exact same parts. There are several parts from Gsix series that are designed in such way to fit other models, like belt, fill tube, the replacement fan, rug plate and a shampoo brush roll.

There won’t be any problems when you go out to find a replacemetn part for your cleaning machine, because all of them are made in a special way. It is not really important what kind of models you have, the truth is you will always have enough space to maneuver when it comes to replacement parts and keeping your Kirby vacuum in order.
