I was just not aware of the fact that I would end up being a superhero when I was asked to come to the Riverside Tax Office by the Deputy Tax manager. I knew I had a long wait before me.   My turn did at last come, after a grueling two and a half hours, only to comprehend that I would have to hang around for a little more time as the bathroom tap of the office washroom had become loose and refused to stop the water flow. Because of this, ground was getting wet with water. Wow!! I am only a plumber, not a cleaner.” And Greg started to scratch his skull in puzzlement. Then I went up to Greg and told him that the guy was not too great at hearing correctly. Ah! Every year a battery of youngsters from India reach US to pursue higher studies. It seemed they were more into Mediterranean food, and now they were to alter their tang to something that was more American, and more of boiled peas and mashed potatoes. Having to now ditch their regular fare of cheese and bread, they seemed quite hesitant to go in for the delicious seafood of Florida. It surely didn’t seem much of a deal to me. The gentleman, however, seemed to be trying his best to persuade his partner to have a go at the crab salad! Of course, He didn’t succeed in that. After they were through with their eating tales, they got discussing about the plumbing work their house needed. That bit got me real amused.
