It’s about time that I tied the knot. Well my folks want me to tie the knot just as I can as they feel that I am fast turning old. It so happened that I turned 27 last week, and just when I and my friends would want the birthday celebrations to continue and spill over the coming month also, my folks have ina way spoiled the whole euphoria by saying that they will be beginning to bring in a host of potential grooms to our residence so that I can meet them and take it forward. I do not say no to the fact that parents have ample parents wishes but is this sudden rush of urgent proceedings being doled out on me necessary? This is really something that I really fail to understand. Yesterday only, I heard my mum chatting with aunt Sharon on the phone and showing her avid interest in the young, go-getter owner of Tacoma Plumbers. Understood to have set a quite flourishing business and name for him at a young age of 28, this guy appeared to fit the bill for me, according to my mother. Quite Surprisingly, I couldn’t help feeling feeling very weird and taken aback. I found myself mocking over the fact that I was now exepcting the well to do owner of Tacoma Electricians and Tacoma Furnishings next. I somehow, also felt quite funny also. Here I stood, without knowing whether to smile at my condition or get anxious over it. So Well, the meeting with the Plumber unit owner did take place and to say the least, it just didn’t click with him. I just knew he couldn’t have been the one. The very next day, I chanced upon a paper flier of Tacoma Roofers at our entrance door. I quickly went inside to the living room and showed it to mom joking that now we should get in touch with the roofers owner at the given contact number and call him home as a prospective groom. At this, my mum just couldn’t help laughing.
