I love how nobody says what’s wrong with it they just say it looks like crap, that’s because you’re all talking out your asses. If you can do better post a video. If not, STFU!

  • cgminddoc:

I think its a great video and after the home owner screws up the project, waste material and 800 trips back to lowes to dicuss why the project is not working out with an employee who’s only training in the select field was watching the above video, JUST FIND A REPUTABLE CONTRACTOR!

  • MARSAR49:

….back buttering stone with a taping knife? FAIL

  • micmic2424:

I think perhaps the right side has a little bit too much of a visible virtical line, perhaps a few shorter pieces on the left (of the right) would have made for a nicer finished product. I am far from a “stonemason” I think for those “Experts” out there, its probably more helpful to comment on the instructions itself rather then the choice of stone or how the finished product looks to each person.
I find these videos helpful. Thanks

  • kangarc:

Way to ruin a perfectly good classic home, with a tacky white-trash paste-on stone job. What the hell is rough stone veneer (pastiche) doing, clinging to the wall of a wood-framed house like this? The thin little band that spans overhead is most disconcerting. Now you just need some plastic flowers, and a couple tires painted white and half-buried at the edge of your driveway. Maybe you can knock out a couple of those double-hung windows, and replace ‘em with a 1950′s picture window.

  • hma19708:

    crappy job
