They are not quite as big as the ones I buy at the store for stuffed pepper recipes .The poblanos are about 4 inches long.The anneheims about 7 but a couple have dark pigmetation stripes on the edge.

Those Anaheim’s are ready now, though you CAN let them go fully red and dry them for ground chile. The poblanos mature a little later, have a longer growing cycle, but can be picked at any point. They are great if allowed to go full red and dried for use in red sauces. Most peppers can be picked at whatever size you’d like for the dish you are making.
