@wheelrchair1 I understand what you’re saying, because Randy really was a good driver, but I also think a mother has the right to be concerned when they first start, especially when their older child had such a rough first experience. It wasn’t unreasonable for Randy to take some time and master daytime driving first, but I think they cheapened the episode a little by making Jill feel as if she did something wrong. If anything, Randy’s immature reaction showed he wasn’t totally responsible.
@rosek102 i accidently gave your comment a thumbs up. Personally i don’t agree. Jill apologized because she did overreact a little. I don’t think it was fair that Jill wanted him to wait a month before he could drive at night just because Brad had an accident.
I adore this show b/c it’s usually much more realistic than most sitcoms. However, this was one episode that fell flat. To me, the final message was that if your parents set a rule that you think is truly unfair, then it’s okay to go ahead and break it, and Mom will admit that she was wrong to make that rule in the first place. What the heck? I know they did ground Randy at the end, but it was so unrealistic how Jill apologized to HIM. I just don’t think most mothers would react that way.
hahahahaha! that band’s lyrics will be difficult to remember….

mark is such a loser in this scene. i cant believe they gave him a chick instrument
@rosek102 he’s a good driver, being immature doesnt mean you cant drive well. just cos your brother is a reckless driver does not mean you will be.
