uhh, i have a gas fireplace with the key thing and a switch (like a light switch) ive nevr used one before but we had a guy come over, but yesterday, i cleaned the it and turned the fire off and i blew this little thing cuz it didnt turn off (was i not supposed to? >>) now the fire wont turn on anymore when i turn on the switched, and im afraid to put a match in it cuz i dnt know if the gas is off or not (i havent touched the key)

Well my gas log fire place the gas wire is broken so if we turn it on it will go “Boom!!!!!”
