Mirrors are known for their decorative features. Given their reflective properties, mirrors also add more light to the interiors, apart from adding character to the room. Since a mirror is an integral part of your room and home decor, it is important to install it perfectly. This Pottery Barn video demonstrates how to hang a mirror perfectly to create the right visual statement. Before mounting a mirror, it is important to check the correct alignment, height and aesthetic appeal of the location. Some of the hardware essentials for mounting a mirror include a measuring tape, a screw driver, mounting studs, and a pencil. To make the correct visual effect, it is recommended to mark mirror positions on the wall and measure them with a tape for correct alignment before drilling holes to mount it. Always remember, a perfectly mounted mirror makes the right style statement and adds to the overall home decor. @guha88 That big musical note stamp is from a company called “Impression Obsession” and their stamps are AWESOME!!! They have such detailed and intricate carving the the red rubber looks flat on some of them, but then you stamp it and WOW!!! That particular stamp is called “Cover-a-Card Music” and it’s one of my favorites.

One more of your beautyfull things. Thanks for sharing! I just wonder: that big musical note stamp, what did you say is the name of the producer? “Impression of session”? Looking forward to your next video!

that is wonderful. I love it.

  • desdichaedo:

@roxyfur I owe these centerpieces largely to my PS3 and Netflix Instant Queue, without which I surely would have gone insane from star-folding boredom long before I have enough to fill the vases. :D

    great colors

  • Tashakcooks:

Thanks for giving a video of how to make the pottery barn stars. I’ve seen written instructions but for something with that many folds it’s better to see it being done.

    Great idea! Love your vases!

  • desdichaedo:

@uglybobswife Thanks so much! I love your idea of writing a message inside the paper. I am thinking about making some larger ones with little strip of paper sort of hanging out of some of them {sort of like a fortune cookie} with a greeting to put by each person’s plate for Christmas dinner. They’re so fun to play around with!

@imjyfl That is the “Ultimate Glue Gun” by Aleene’s. It came in a case with a variety of interchangeable? nozzles. The nozzle that I have on it is the fine tip, which is awesome for scrapbooking. I received it as a gift, but it is widely available online from places like Amazon and whatnot.

@Bcreative101 I think it would be awesome for the July 4th, with flags sticking out of the top! Yeah! I need to see if there is a quick & easy origami heart to do something similar for Valentine’s Day.

  • desdichaedo:

@MsSuziek3 It is a great idea to fill your vases and vessels with chocolates for the holidays. You could always have the stars on standby to refill them after the chocolate gets snagged ~ lol! Chocolate doesn’t seem to last long during the holidays.

  • desdichaedo:

@joic81 The manufacturer of the stamp is Impression Obsession. I got the stamp from the online store scrapyland . com, but the manufacturer also sells the stamps directly on their website.
