Great video.
I learned this technique about 40 years ago. It was referred to as a California Hot Patch.
Those subtitles are terrible haha
Good Job Bob. Should have used a steel patch in case your dumb ass friend comes over again. Hahaha…… seriously. Excellent video.
Excellent Video – I would have never thought of leaving the paper on the front of the wallpaper patch to secure it. Makes alot of sense! Going to view your other videos.
nice vid, seen this before but it remind me that for small holes no need to buy those 8″ square mesh patches ,this is better alternative…but what would be the biggest hole you can patch with this technique?
I wasnt really sure on what to do or how to do it,,,,but after reading those subtitles,,,I know excatly what to do! Thanks!
this is probably the best technique ive seen. you might want to fix the captions though.
Are you using some speach-to-text software? It’s the best part of the video! Or did you outsource to transcription to engrish?
Gently place your passion in the hall.
@nanefy Yeah
At one point near the end it says “And house is gone”
Which is exactly the opposite of what we’re trying to do here
Cool idea
OMG…I tried to look at the video…but kept laughinh at the subtitles..too funny
awesome tip thanks
Excellent video – would never have thought of leaving the paper on! genius!
Has anyone noticed the hilarious subtitles for this video???
is it better to do this or use those mesh patches and then put compound over that?

LOL Al really does lead himself into this kinda trouble. Knowing how accident prone Tim is, why on earth would you let him use something you love so much?! Like the Popsical Crane, his mothers china, the tricycle!

You’ll actually have to ask Dr. Havershim (The Perihelion) ( 0-(^_^0) ). He’s the guy that takes care of the beginning and end for all of our videos. Coincidentally, he’s also the guy that owns FTN. Send him a personal comment asking about it. Worth a try.

whats up with the old school street fighter at the end?
this is a great clip and can post the one when they had their salute to fitness from the episode when tim is brad’s trainer when the Tar Heels showed interest in him and when the cat sounds, i can stop laughing.
