I have a couple of hangling plants outside including a strawberry plant. They are hanging from poles with no overhead protection. They do have drainage holes in the bottom of the containers though. Can I leave them outside when it rains or will a heavy rain ruin or drown them even with the drainage holes? Thanks.

Heavy, torrential rain for hours may waterlog and batter them, but otherwise a good rainfall won’t hurt them.
